Caloy Garcia
Carlos Jose "Caloy" Garcia is a Filipino professional basketball coach and former TV host. He is currently serving as team consultant for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the Philippine Basketball Association. Early life Caloy Garcia was born to a Spanish father who is from Malaga and a Filipino mother. He studied at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and briefly played for the Dazz Dishwashing Paste in the PBL. He is a cousin of B-Meg Derby Ace Llamados head coach Jorge Gallent, also a Benildean. He assisted Garcia in the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde and the Welcoat Paintmasters prior to his winning run with the Harbour Centre Batang Pier. The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a men's professional basketball league in the Philippines composed of twelve company-branded franchised teams. The Hapee Fresh Fighters was a basketball team owned by Lamoiyan Corporation that played in the PBA Developmental League (PBA D-League). The franchise began in the Philippine Basketball League from 1994 until the league became dormant in 2010. The franchise was revived in 2014 when it took over the franchise of the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA D-League. The Letran Knights basketball is the collegiate men’s basketball program of the Colegio de San Juan de Letran. The Knights have won 20 championships since joining the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It is the second winningest team in the NCAA, just behind the San Beda Red Lions. Francisco Luis "Louie" Alas (born October 10, 1963) is a Filipino basketball head coach. He is the former head coach of the Letran Knights in the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and Philippine Patriots in the ASEAN Basketball League. He was also a former coach of Mobiline from 2000 to 2001 in the Philippine Basketball Association. Playing career Alas' basketball career began in Adamson University in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines where he played for the school's team Adamson Falcons. Yeng Guiao
Joseller "Yeng" Medina Guiao (born March 19, 1959) is a Filipino professional basketball head coach, politician, commentator and sports commissioner. He is currently the head coach of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters of the Philippine Basketball Association. He previously served as the interim head coach of the Philippine national team. Guiao won seven PBA titles since starting his head coaching job for Swift in the early 1990s. He is a former Philippine Basketball League commissioner from 1997 to 2000. Leovino R. Austria (born March 14, 1958), better known as Leo Austria, is a Filipino former professional basketball player and the current head coach of the San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Playing career Austria played his college basketball for the Lyceum of the Philippines University while also suiting up in the commercial Philippine Amateur Basketball League via Masagana 99.
