Calle Örnemark
Calle Olof Sigvard Örnemark (19 December 1933 – 4 August 2015) was a Swedish artist and sculptor from Jönköping Municipality, Sweden. He is particularly known for his large wooden sculptures, but he also made paintings and metal sculptures. His first large sculpture was ''Jätten Vist'' (the Vist the Giant) completed in 1969 and standing over high next to the European route E4, at Huskvarna. According to the legend, the giant was on the way home from a party in Västergötland. He threw some grass and soil into lake Vättern for his wife to step on, thus creating the island Visingsö. In the 1980s his very large outdoor wooden sculptures ''Bounty'' and ''Indiska reptricket'' (the Indian rope trick) at Riddersberg manor, south of Jönköping drew many visitors. The mobile ''Bounty'' resembled a ship and the 103 meter high ''Indiska reptricket'' was the world's highest sculpture. Both were torn down in 2007 after their condition had deteriorated. Antonio Sánchez de la Calle (born 14 October 1978) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a striker, currently the manager of UD San Sebastián de los Reyes. Calle amassed Segunda División totals of 258 matches and 70 goals over ten seasons, representing in the competition Xerez, Recreativo, Albacete, Gimnàstic, Girona and Valladolid. Calle Erik Steén (born 16 May 1980) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Steen was drafted in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft in the 5th round as the 142nd pick overall by the Detroit Red Wings. At that time he played for Hammarby IF in the second highest league in Sweden, Allsvenskan. But only playing five games in the 1998/99 season Steen moved league rival Mora IK in the summer of 1999. He stayed only one season with Mora and then moved to the Finnish SM-Liiga club JYP Jyväskylä. But he did not stay there for long a time, after only five games he moved back to Sweden and Bofors IK of Allsvenskan. And finally he got some success. Carl-Hermann Gustav "Calle" Schlettwein (born 13 June 1954) is a Namibian politician who has served in the country's cabinet since 2012. In March 2020, he was appointed the Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform after serving as the Minister of Finance from 2015 to 2020 and previously as the Minister of Trade and Industry from 2012 to 2015. Carl Jularbo, better known as Calle Jularbo and born Karl Karlsson (6 June 1893, in Jularbo, Avesta Municipality, Dalarna County, Sweden – 13 February 1966, in Nacka Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden) was the most famous Swedish accordionist of his time. He had a very distinct personal style, that has played a significant part in forming the Swedish accordion tradition. He was extremely productive, recording 1577 tunes and he won 158 accordion competitions. He maintained a large repertoire without being able to read music. Carl Christian "Calle" Johansson (born 14 February 1967) is a Swedish former assistant coach with the Washington Capitals and former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 17 seasons in the National Hockey League between 1987 and 2004, most of it with the Capitals. He has worked as hockey colour commentator for Swedish Canal+ and worked as an assistant for six seasons for Frölunda HC in the Swedish Elitserien before returning to the Capitals organization.
