Julius Caesar
Gaius Julius Caesar (; ; 12 July 100 BC – 15 March 44 BC), was a Roman general and statesman. A member of the First Triumvirate, Caesar led the Roman armies in the Gallic Wars before defeating his political rival Pompey in a civil war, and subsequently became dictator from 49 BC until his assassination in 44 BC. He played a critical role in the events that led to the demise of the Roman Republic and the rise of the Roman Empire. In 60 BC, Caesar, Crassus and Pompey formed the First Triumvirate, an informal political alliance that dominated Roman politics for several years. Caesar II (January 7, 1967 – April 28, 2008) was an American football linebacker who played one season with the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL as well as four seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL). Shirley Ann Caesar-Williams (born October 13, 1938), known professionally as Shirley Caesar, is an American gospel singer whose career has spanned seven decades. She has won 11 Grammys in addition to Dove Awards and Stellar Awards; Caesar is known as the "First Lady of Gospel Music" and "The Queen of Gospel Music". Robert Caesar
Robert Caesar (9 October 1602 – 27 October 1637) was an English lawyer and politician who sat in the House of Commons in 1625 and 1626. Caesar was the son of Sir Julius Caesar, privy councillor of James I and Charles I. He attended Eton from 1609 to 1615. He matriculated at Queen's College, Oxford on 26 January 1616, aged 13 and was awarded BA on 15 October 1618. He was called to the bar at Inner Temple in 1622. In 1625, he was elected Member of Parliament for Bodmin. He was elected MP for Ilchester in 1626. From 1628 to 1636 he was a Clerk of the Petty Bag and from 1636 to 1637 one of the Six Clerks in the Court of Chancery . On 7 December 1630 in Rolls Chapel he married Elizabeth, daughter of John Manning, a merchant of London. Caesar died at the age of 35. Dr Pogus Caesar (born 1953) is a British photographer, conceptual artist, archivist, author, curator, television producer and director. He was born in St Kitts, West Indies, and grew up in Birmingham, England. Early life Dr Pogus Caesar was born on the Caribbean island of St Kitts and came to Britain at an early age and up in Birmingham. A self-taught artist, he took up painting seriously in his early 20s. Caesar developed his own technique by using simple pens and ink, composing his paintings with thousands of tiny dots. This minutely detailed use of a fountain pen meant that even the smaller works took several months to complete. Hans-Joachim Caesar (17 May 1905 – 18 May 1990) was a German lawyer and banking official, working for the German Reichsbank from 1931 until the end of World War II. He was director of Germany's Reichsbank during World War II and basically served as "second-in-line" to Vice President Emil Puhl. From 1940 to 1944, Caesar served as German Banking Administrator/Comptroller ("Bankenkommissar") for France in Paris. Gus Cassius Caesar (born 5 March 1966) is an English former professional footballer.
