CVM Television (CVM TV) is a television station in Kingston, Jamaica, broadcasting news, entertainment, and sports programmes. It is known for its newscasts, Caribbean lifestyle shows, and also airs Caribbean and overseas movie and TV productions. ''Newswatch'' has been one of the channel's long-running programmes. History CVM is an acronym for the three original major shareholders granted the television license in 1991: "C" - Community Television Systems Limited; "V" - Videomax Limited and "M" - Mediamix Limited. It was granted a licence to operate in March 1991, and began providing commercial television services in March 1993. ''Street Justice'' is an American action crime drama series starring Carl Weathers and Bryan Genesse. The series began airing in syndication in 1991, and was canceled in 1993 after 2 seasons. Synopsis The series revolves around U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier-turned-metropolitan police detective, Adam Beaudreaux (Weathers) (b. 1948), and Grady Jameson (Genesse), a Canadian martial arts expert. As a child, Grady saved Adam's life when he was wounded-in-action during the Vietnam War. Grady's parents, who were Canadian missionaries, were killed when the Viet Cong burned down their village. After the encounter, the two formed a bond and were together in Vietnam for 10 months until Adam was sent back to the United States and discharged from service. The New Archies
''The New Archies'' is an American animated sitcom produced by DIC Animation City, based upon the characters by Archie Comics. The series, originally produced for NBC's Saturday morning schedule and broadcast from September 12 to December 5, 1987, depicted the characters of Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones, Reggie Mantle, and other students of Riverdale High School as pre-teens in junior high. Archie produced an identically named and themed comic book series that ran alongside the animated series. In the series, Veronica uses the dialect of an archetypal valley girl. ''The Mummy'' (also known as ''The Mummy: The Animated Series'') is an American animated series produced by Universal Cartoon Studios based on the 1999 film of the same name. It premiered on Kids' WB on The WB network on September 22, 2001. It is set in 1938. ''Barney & Friends'' is an American children's television series targeted at young children aged 2–7, created by Sheryl Leach. The series premiered on PBS on April 6, 1992.
