CS Medgidia
Clubul Sportiv Medgidia, commonly known as CS Medgidia, or simply as Medgidia, is a Romanian sports club from Medgidia, Constanța County, Romania, founded in 1952. Its professional football club currently play in the Liga III. Apart from football the club also competes in handball, volleyball, wrestling, boxing, arm wrestling, swimming, chess, and rugby. Stadionul Iftimie Ilisei
Iftimie Ilisei Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Medgidia, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Medgidia. The stadium holds 32,700 people. It was opened on 22 October 1978 and was known as the ''Municipal Stadium'' until 2008 when it was renamed after Iftimie Ilisei, the former mayor of Medgidia who built it. Rugby Football
Rugby football is the collective name for the team sports of rugby union and rugby league. Canadian football and, to a lesser extent, American football were once considered forms of rugby football, but are seldom now referred to as such. The 2008–09 Liga III season was the 53rd season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The winners of each division got promoted to the 2009–10 Liga II season. There were also two playoff tournaments held at neutral venues involving the second placed teams, one with those from series 1, 2 and 3, the other with those from series 4, 5, and 6. The winners of the playoffs also got promoted to the 2009–10 Liga II season. The bottom three from each division were relegated at the end of the season to the Liga IV. 2019–20 Liga III
The 2019–20 Liga III was the 64th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 24 August 2019 and to end on 30 May 2020. The season was interrupted on 9 March 2020, after 16 rounds, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After two months of inactivity, on 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the season was discontinued and the best ranked teams from each series (after 16 rounds) were promoted to Liga II, only if the distance between the leader and the runner-up was bigger than 3 points. Otherwise promotion play-offs will be played between the best two teams of the series. Liga IV Constanța is the regional Liga IV football division for clubs in Constanța County, România, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system.
