The CRP Group is an Italian industrial group specialising in additive manufacturing, Rapid Prototyping and high precision machining services in the motorsport, automotive, space, boating, design, medical and UAV sectors. In the automotive sector, CRP Group has been building electric motorcycles since 2014 through the start-up Energica Motor Company, a member of its group. Rapid prototyping is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional computer aided design (CAD) data. Construction of the part or assembly is usually done using 3D printing or "additive layer manufacturing" technology. Energica Motor Company is an Italian manufacturer of electric motorcycles. The Energica project was started in 2010 in Modena, Italy, by CRP Group, an international company involved in computer numerical control machining and additive manufacturing with advanced selective laser sintering materials. Energica Motor Company was officially founded in 2014 with the aim of creating high-performance sustainable motorcycles. On 28 March 2022, Energica Motor Company was delisted from the Milan Stock Exchange. The company was privatized and delisted by Ideanomics, Inc. Ideanomics gained a 72.42% stake in the company. Selective laser melting (SLM) is one of many proprietary names for a metal additive manufacturing (AM) technology that uses a bed of powder with a source of heat to create metal parts. Minardi
Minardi was an Italian automobile racing team and constructor founded in Faenza in 1979 by Giancarlo Minardi. It competed in the Formula One World Championship from 1985 until 2005 with little success, nevertheless acquiring a loyal following of fans. In 2001, to save the team from folding, Minardi sold it to Australian businessman Paul Stoddart, who ran the team for five years before selling it on to Red Bull GmbH in 2005 who renamed it Scuderia Toro Rosso. Minardi M02
The Minardi M02 was the car with which the Minardi Formula One team competed in the 2000 Formula One season. Development The M02 was designed by Gustav Brunner. The car was a clear development from the M01 featuring new pointed nose cone, compact sides and high exhausts. The M02 developed the titanium cased gearbox from 1999 even further, which helped with weight. The M02 was the first F1 car to adopt set down brake callipers in a seasonal development. The M02 continued using the Ford Cosworth V10 engine which was the same power unit from 1998. It was badged Fondmetal. Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the premier class of motorcycle road racing events held on road circuits sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM). TTXGP
TTXGP are the official promoters of FIM eRoadRacing, an electric motorsport race series. Founded by Azhar Hussain MBE in 2008, TTXGP started life as the first zero-carbon, clean-emission race to take place at the Isle of Man TT as teams from around the globe raced electric motorbikes. TTXGP then grew to become a world championship before the company took up the official role as promoters of FIM eRoad Racing when TTXGP and FIM e-Power joined forces in 2013.
