CP Lisboa
The ''CP Urban Services'' network is the commuter train network of Metropolitan Lisbon and Metropolitan Porto, Portugal. It is a Comboios de Portugal company. It connects the city centers with the suburbs. Metropolitan Lisbon Network The system is complemented in Lisbon by the Lisbon Metro and an extensive bus network. Figueira Da Foz
Figueira da Foz (), also known as Figueira for short, is a city and a municipality in the Coimbra District, in Portugal. Practically at the midpoint of the Iberian Peninsula's Atlantic coast, it is located at the mouth of the Mondego River, west of Coimbra and sheltered by hills (Serra da Boa Viagem), sharing about the same latitude with Philadelphia, Baku and Beijing. Ramal Da Lousã
Ramal da Lousã is a railway line which connects the stations of Coimbra-B, on the Linha do Norte, and Coimbra, in Portugal. It was opened by the Companhia Real dos Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses, under the name Ramal de Coimbra, on 18 October 1885, and was extended to Lousã on 16 December 1906, and to Serpins on 10 August 1930. During the 1990s the Metro Mondego project was planned, with the intention of replacing the Ramal da Lousã with a light rail system. The section Miranda do Corvo–Serpins was closed on 1 December 2009, and the section Coimbra–Miranda do Corvo on 4 January 2010, with buses replacing the service. The section from Coimbra-B to Coimbra was not closed, making Coimbra the terminus again. The construction of the Metro Mondego started, but was stopped due to the 2010–14 Portuguese financial crisis. Miranda Do Corvo
Miranda do Corvo () is a town and a municipality in the Portuguese district of Coimbra, with an area of and 2011 population of 13,098 inhabitants. History The first reference to the region of Miranda do Corvo arrived at the end of the 10th century, although evidence of archaeological evidence to human settlement extend further back in history. The 10th century document that referenced these lands were associated with the Monastery of Lorvão in 998, that identified a military structure in Miranda do Corvo, that included tower. Today there is recognition that the settlement of Vila Nova occurred in pre-history and that Chão de Lamas during a proto-historical interval. Archaeological excavations around the Roman settlement of Eira Velha in Lamas also unearthed the vestiges of the agricultural community important along Roman roadways. Lousã () is a town and concelho, municipality in the district of Coimbra (district), Coimbra, in the central part of Portugal. The population in 2011 was 17,604, in an area of 138.40 km2. History The oldest evidence provides an indication of a human presence in this territory from the Roman occupation of the Iberian peninsula.
