CNA (stylised as cna), which is an acronym derived from its previous name, Channel NewsAsia, is a Singaporean multinational news channel owned by the country's national public broadcaster Mediacorp. It broadcasts free-to-air domestically in Singapore and as a pay television channel internationally to 29 territories across the Asia-Pacific. The channel's logo is a stylised red letter A with folding patterns. The network has been positioned as an alternative to Western-based international media in its presentation of news from "an Asian perspective". It is run by Mediacorp News Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the Singapore's media conglomerate Mediacorp Pte Ltd. 1080i
1080i (also known as Full HD or BT.709) is a combination of frame resolution and scan type. 1080i is used in high-definition television (HDTV) and high-definition video. The number "1080" refers to the number of horizontal lines on the screen. The "i" is an abbreviation for "interlaced"; this indicates that only the even lines, then the odd lines of each frame (each image called a video field) are drawn alternately, so that only half the number of actual image frames are used to produce video. A related display resolution is 1080p, which also has 1080 lines of resolution; the "p" refers to progressive scan, which indicates that the lines of resolution for each frame are "drawn" on the screen in sequence. All-news radio is a radio format devoted entirely to the discussion and broadcast of news. All-news radio is available in both local and syndicated forms, and is carried on both major US satellite radio networks. All-news stations can run the gamut from simulcasting an all-news television station like CNN, to a "rip and read" headline service, to stations that include live coverage of news events and long-form public affairs programming. It operates in Malaysia and Brunei and operates from the All Asia Broadcast Centre (AABC) in Kuala Lumpur and MEASAT in Cyberjaya. The Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC) is a mixed-use development located along Marina Boulevard and Central Boulevard at the Downtown Core of Singapore. It consists of three office towers, two residential towers and retail space at Marina Bay Link Mall, occupying a site.
