CKSA-TV
CKSA-DT (channel 2) is a Citytv-affiliated television station in Lloydminster, a city located on the border of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. It is owned by Stingray Radio alongside CTV affiliate CITL-DT (channel 4). Both stations share studios at 50 Street and 51 Avenue on the Alberta side of Lloydminster, while CKSA-DT's transmitter is located near Highway 17 and Township Road 512, near the Saskatchewan provincial line. History From its launch through 2016, CKSA was an affiliate of CBC Television, and was that network's last remaining privately owned affiliate. CKEM-DT (channel 51) is a television station in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, part of the Citytv network. It is owned and operated by Rogers Sports & Media alongside Omni Television station CJEO-DT (channel 56). Both stations share studios with Rogers' local radio stations on Gateway Boulevard in Edmonton, while CKEM-DT's transmitter is located near Yellowhead Highway/ Highway 16A. The station also operates a rebroadcast transmitter (CKEM-DT-1) in Red Deer on virtual channel 4 (UHF digital channel 15). "O Canada" (french: Ô Canada, italic=no) is the national anthem of Canada. It is the opposite of a sign-off (or closedown in Commonwealth countries except Canada), which is the sequence of operations involved when a radio or television station shuts down its transmitters and goes off the air for a predetermined period; generally, this occurs during the overnight hours although a broadcaster's digital specialty or sub-channels may sign-on and sign-off at significantly different times as its main channels. Terrace is a city located near the Skeena River in British Columbia, Canada. The community is the regional retail and service hub for the northwestern portion of British Columbia.
