CJGO-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 102.1 FM radio, FM in La Sarre, Quebec. Owned and operated by Arsenal Media, the station airs an active rock format branded as Capitale Rock. CJGO also has a rebroadcaster in Rouyn-Noranda, CHGO-FM-1, 95.7 FM; the repeater originally rebroadcast sister station CHGO-FM in Val-d'Or until August 2010, when it switched to CJGO. Although the station is licensed to La Sarre and the transmitter in Rouyn-Noranda is legally a rebroadcaster, the station's actual studios are located in Rouyn-Noranda. CHGO-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 104.3 FM in Val-d'Or, Quebec. Owned and operated by Arsenal Media, the station airs an active rock format branded as Capitale Rock. It also shares much of its programming with CJGO-FM in La Sarre, although the two stations each produce their own separate morning programs. The radio station originally began as CKVD 900, an AM station that was part of the Abitibi AM network since 1939 with CHAD Amos (now defunct) and CKRN Rouyn-Noranda (now CHOA-FM), until it was converted to FM in 1999. La Sarre is a town in northwestern Quebec, Canada, and is the most populous town and seat of the Abitibi-Ouest Regional County Municipality. Rouyn-Noranda ( 2021 population 42,313) is a city on Osisko Lake in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region of Quebec, Canada. The city of Rouyn-Noranda is a coextensive with a territory equivalent to a regional county municipality (TE) and census division (CD) of Quebec of the same name. Their geographical code is 86. Val-d'Or (, , ; "Golden Valley" or "Valley of Gold") is a city in Quebec, Canada with a population of 32,752 inhabitants according to the Canada 2021 Census.
