CINA-FM (102.3 MHz) is a radio station broadcasting a mixture of English-language and ethnic/multilingual music and programming in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The station broadcasts with an antenna aimed toward the northwest and southeast, to protect nearby stations on the same frequency: CHST-FM in London; WGRT in Port Huron, Michigan; WPOS-FM in Toledo, Ohio and WFXN-FM in Galion, Ohio. In consequence, the coverage area reaches out to ethnic communities in both Windsor and Detroit, Michigan. History In 2008, Neeti P. WGRT (102.3 FM) is an adult contemporary radio station in Port Huron, Michigan. It is owned by Port Huron Family Radio and broadcasts with a power of 3,000 watts. WGRT signed on in October 1991. The station airs a satellite-delivered AC format ("Today's Hits and Yesterday's Favorites") from Citadel Media. The station can be heard as far as Lapeer County and in parts of northern Macomb and southern Sanilac counties. CINA (1650 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station, licensed to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and serving the Greater Toronto area. It is owned by Neeti Prakash Ray and it broadcasts a South Asian format of talk, news and music shows. It is co-owned with a similar station in Windsor, CINA-FM. By day, CINA is powered at 5,000 watts. But to protect other stations from interference, at night it reduces power to 680 watts. During critical hours, the power is 1,000 watts. A non-directional antenna is used. The transmitter is on Eglinton Avenue East at Tomken Road in Mississauga.
