Chor Chee Heung
Chor Chee Heung (; born 15 March 1955) is a Malaysian politician and was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Alor Setar constituency in Kedah, Malaysia from 21 October 1990 to 5 May 2013. He was a member of the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) in the then-governing Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition and was the Minister for Housing and Local Government. Chor was elected to the Alor Setar constituency in 1990. He retained the seat in the 2008 election by 184 votes, before being defeated in the 2013 election. In June 2010, he was promoted to Minister of Housing and Local Government. He had previously been a Deputy Minister, and had served in various Parliamentary Secretary and Deputy Minister positions since 1995. Chor was a MCA Vice President. Chor Hooi Yee
Chor Hooi Yee (born 4 May 1979) is a Malaysian former badminton player. Chor was the women's doubles silver medalist at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur partnered with Lim Pek Siah, also helped the team reach the final and clinch the silver medal. Teamed-up with Chew Choon Eng in the mixed doubles, they claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Southeast Asian Games in Brunei. She previously left the Badminton Association of Malaysia due to nagging injuries and her studies in 2001, and in 2004 she made a comeback to the national squad. Chor educated business in HELP University. She now works as an executive committee member of Cheras club. Chor Yeok Eng (; 29 January 1930 – 21 July 2016) was a Singaporean politician who is one of the Old Guards member of the People's Action Party (PAP). Political career Chor served two separate stints in Parliament. He was first elected in 1959 as the member of the Legislative Assembly of Singapore for the constituency of Jurong but was defeated in 1963. He also served as Parliamentary Secretary for the National Development from 1961 to 1963. Between 1963 to 1966, he served as Political Secretary for Health. Chor was elected as a member of the Parliament of Singapore for Bukit Timah Single Member Constituency serving from 1966 to 1984. The River Chor is a largely culverted stream in the Lancashire town of Chorley. Its name was back-formed from "Chorley". The source of the river is in the hills near Heapey Heapey is a village and civil parish of the Borough of Chorley, in Lancashire, England. The village is two miles from Chorley and on the western fringe of the West Pennine Moors. In 2001 the population was 955, increasing to 1,001 at the 2011 c ....
