CEV Cup
The CEV Cup is the second tier official competition for men's Volleyball clubs of Europe. The competition takes place every year. Until 2000, it was the CEV Cup Winners' Cup. In 2000 it was renamed CEV Top Teams Cup and in 2007 it was renamed CEV Cup. The former CEV Cup was renamed to CEV Challenge Cup. Europe
Europe is a large peninsula conventionally considered a continent in its own right because of its great physical size and the weight of its history and traditions. CUS Torino Pallavolo
CUS Torino Pallavolo was a professional men's volleyball team based in Turin, Italy. It is one of the most famous clubs which played in Serie A1 in the 1970s and in the 1980s, winning several Italian and European trophies. History Founded in 1952 by the students who joined sports club of the University of Turin, CUS reached the highest level of Italian volleyball league in 1972. Guided by Silvano Prandi and sponsored by industries Klippan and Kappa, the club in the next decade won four national titles (1978–79, 1979–80, 1990–81 and 1983–84), a CEV Champions League (1980) and a Cup Winner's Cup. In 1988, for economic reasons, it did not enroll at Serie A1 and restarted from the lower divisions. In 2001 the team merged into Piemonte Volley. Volley Piacenza
Volley Piacenza was an Italian professional men's volleyball club based in Piacenza, northern Italy. They played in the Italian Volleyball League. The club ceased to exist in 2018 due to financial problems. Although the club reached the Italian 1st division for the first time only in 2002, after have dominated the Italian 2nd division and winning also the Italian Cup, it has already played 9 finals in Italy, including 5 for the Italian Title(winning only in 2009 versus the strong Trento), 2 for the Italian Cup(won in 2013 and lost in 2006) and 2 for the Italian Supercup (beating Macerata 3–2 in 2009 and losing versus the same team in 2014 again after a tie-break). Olympiacos Men's Volleyball ( el, Ολυμπιακός, ), commonly referred to as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos CFP, is the men's volleyball department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus, Attica. The department was founded in 1926 and their home ground is the Melina Merkouri Indoor Hall in Agios Ioannis Rentis, Piraeus. Volley Gonzaga Milano or simply Gonzaga Milano was a male volleyball club from Milan, Italy. History The club was founded in 1973 as ''Volley Gonzaga'' from the merger of several clubs, including the internal private Institute "Gonzaga", then Italian champion in juniors, and ''CSI Milano'', who had played in Serie A in the fifties and sixties and that he had then moved its headquarters first in Vigevano and then to Pavia.
