CD Eldense
Club Deportivo Eldense is a Spanish football team based in Elda, in the autonomous community of Valencia. Founded in 1921, the club plays in the Primera División RFEF – Group 2, and holds home matches at ''Estadio Nuevo Pepico Amat'', which has a capacity of 4,036 spectators. History One of the oldest clubs in the Valencian Community, Eldense enrolled in the Valencian Football Federation in 1924, and started competing in Tercera División 19 years later. It first appeared in Segunda División in the 1956–57 season, narrowly avoiding relegation after finishing in 16th position; the first spell in that tier lasted three years, in a total of five at the professional level. The Estadio Municipal Nuevo Pepico Amat is a multi-use stadium located in Elda, Province of Alicante, Alicante, Valencian Community, Spain. It has a capacity of 3,025 and is currently used for Association football, football matches and is the home stadium of CD Eldense. History In 2011, the Elda City Council began constructions to build a new stadium 300 meters away from Estadio Municipal Pepico Amat, attempting to turn the grounds of the old stadium into a commercial center. The cost of the new stadium reached Euro, € 4,5 million, and took the name of its replacement, being called "Nuevo Pepico Amat". Home tenants CD Eldense played their last match in the "old" Pepico Amat on 29 August 2012, a 0–0 draw against Orihuela CF. Javier Tebas Medrano (; born 31 July 1962) is a Spanish lawyer and the president of Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, the association responsible for administering Spain's two professional football leagues. First elected in April 2013, he was re-elected for a third term in December 2019. The 1949–50 Tercera División was the 14th edition of the Spanish third national tier. Format 90 clubs in 5 geographic groups of 18 participated this season. The group winners and runners up (10 clubs) progressed to the Final Phase. These 10 clubs were joined by Las Palmas and Tenerife who were not officially members of the Tercera División. The 1948–49 Tercera División was the 13th edition of the Spanish national third tier. Format 14 clubs in 6 geographic groups (84 clubs) participated. One, Maestranza Aérea León withdrew mid-season. The 6 group champions and 6-runners up were promoted as of right. The 6 group champions played off for the Tercera División championship. The winner and runner up of each group (24 teams) progressed to the second phase (Fase Intermedia).
