1948–49 Tercera División
The 1948–49 Tercera División was the 13th edition of the Spanish national third tier. Format 14 clubs in 6 geographic groups (84 clubs) participated. One, Maestranza Aérea León withdrew mid-season. The 6 group champions and 6-runners up were promoted as of right. The 6 group champions played off for the Tercera División championship. The 6 third placed teams and the two bottom Segunda División teams played-off for two places in the Segunda División. In the event the play-offs were unnecessary since Segunda División was expanded from one division of 14 clubs to two divisions of 16 clubs for season 1949–50. No teams were relegated from Segunda División and the top 3 in all 6 groups were promoted. 1947–48 Tercera División
The 1947–48 Tercera División was the 12th edition of the Spanish national third tier. Format 8 geographic groups of 14 clubs (112 in total) participated. The 8 group champions qualified for the Fase Intermedia which comprised 2 groups of four clubs playing a round robin. The group winners and runners up qualified for the Fase_Final which was another round robin with the top two clubs earning promotion to Segunda División. 1949–50 Tercera División
The 1949–50 Tercera División was the 14th edition of the Spanish third national tier. Format 90 clubs in 5 geographic groups of 18 participated this season. The group winners and runners up (10 clubs) progressed to the Final Phase. These 10 clubs were joined by Las Palmas and Tenerife who were not officially members of the Tercera División. Two groups of 6 were formed with clubs playing home and away (10 matches). The winners and runners up of each group (4 clubs) were promoted to the Segunda División. The third and fourth placed teams participated in Promotion/Relegation play-offs against the teams finishing 14th and 15th in the North and South groups of the Segunda División. Club Arsenal de El Ferrol, also known as Ferrol Atlético, was a Spanish football team based in Ferrol, in the autonomous community of Galicia. Founded in 1936 as ''Club Galicia de El Ferrol'', the team disappeared in 1993. History The origins of the team can be found in 1936, when ''Club Galicia de El Ferrol'' was born. In 1947, it was renamed ''Arsenal Club de Fútbol de El Ferrol'' and after, in 1956, ''Club Arsenal de El Ferrol''.
