Alfonso Catá
Alfonso Catá (3 October 1937 – 15 September 1990) was a Cuban ballet dancer, choreographer, teacher, and company director, active in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, and France. Early life and training Born in Havana, Alfonso Catá was the son of a diplomat in service to the government of Fulgencio Batista, president of Cuba from 1933 to 1959. When Alfonso was a boy, his father was posted to Geneva, Switzerland, and he was educated in private schools there, adding French and English to his native Spanish. Details of his early life are obscure, but he may also have begun his ballet training with Swiss teachers. In any case, when his family moved to the United States about 1950 and settled in New York City, his interest in dance was strong enough to cause him to enroll at the School of American Ballet. Daniel Alberto "Cata" Díaz (born 13 July 1979) is an Argentine professional football manager and former player who played as a central defender. After starting at Rosario Central, he went on to spend most of his career in Spain, amassing La Liga totals of 174 matches and three goals over six seasons, mainly with Getafe. Edward E. Bello Pou, better known by his stage name El Cata, is a Dominican singer and songwriter, who emerged in the music scene in 1999, born and raised in Barahona, Dominican Republic. Early life Bello is the second son of Maria Luisa Pou Betances. He has four sisters. At age of five, he emigrated from the Dominican Republic to Puerto Rico and a year later from PR to Miami, Florida where he lived until he graduated from Miami Beach Senior High School. While at school, Bello spent most of his time in class writing and composing songs. He would walk down the hallways singing the songs that he would write during class. Cața (german: Katzendorf; hu, Kaca) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Beia, Cața, Drăușeni, Ionești, and Paloș. There are three fortified churches in the commune, at Cața, Beia, and Drăușeni. The commune is located in the northernmost part of the county, on the border with Harghita and Mureș counties.
