Osmany Cienfuegos
Osmany Cienfuegos Gorriarán (born February 4, 1931) is a Cuban politician and older brother of Camilo Cienfuegos. He has served in various roles in the Cuban government. Cienfuegos was the only one of three brothers who attended the University of Havana, where he graduated as an architect in 1954. He joined the Popular Socialist Party (Partido Socialista Popular, PSP). He was exiled to Mexico in 1957, and remained there until 1959. After his brother's death, he was chosen to be the Minister of Construction in 1960. After the foundation of the Communist Party of Cuba in 1965, Cienfuegos was chosen as the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the PCC Central Committee. He played a key role in implementing Cuban policies toward Africa in the 1960s, such as the intervention in the Congo in 1965. Gardezi (also spelled Gardezy or Gardizi) refers to someone whose origin can be traced back to the city of Gardez in Afghanistan. There have been a few known Sayyid families from Gardez who migrated to different parts of Pakistan. Their descendants still carry the surname Gardezi. The Alavi Bohras are a Tayyibi Musta'lavi Isma'ili Shi'i Muslim community from Gujarat, India. In India, during the time of the 18th Fatimid Imam Al-Mustansir Billah around 1093 AD in Egypt, the designated learned people (''wulaat'') who were sent from Yemen by missionaries (''du'aat'') under the guidance of the imam established a ''da'wah'' in Khambhat (Gujarat, India).
