Uganda became an independent sovereign state on 9 October 1962. The parliament of Uganda is the country's legislative body. Unicameral, the most significant of the Ugandan parliament's functions is to pass laws that will provide good governance in the country. Robinah Nabbanja (born 17 December 1969) is a Ugandan educator and politician, who is the Prime Minister of Uganda, after being nominated to the office on 8 June 2021.
