It was released on February 5, 2002 through Sub City Records, who the band had previously reissued their debut studio album ''Identity Crisis'' (2000) through. Paul Miner
Paul Miner (born December 4, 1976) is the bassist for Death by Stereo, who left the band early 2005 (right before the band's fourth album '' Death for Life''), to produce, engineer, master, and mix music full-time. Previously he produced and engineered the first three Death by Stereo records, which is probably why the band's fourth album ''Death for Life'', was a noticeable departure from their regular sound. Paul was also in a band called Kill The Messenger, which was also signed to Indecision Records. Paul is the brother of Jim Miner, the original guitarist, who left the band during the recording of Death by Stereo's third album ''Into the Valley of Death''. Paul and his brother Jim recently reunited with Death by Stereo in 2006 to record their upcoming fifth studio album, entitled '' Death Is My Only Friend'', which is due for release in 2009. Miner began producing other bands in the 2000s; among his credits are recordings by Touché Amoré, This Moment, Avenue of Escape, ...

To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere
''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' is the ninth studio album by American rock band Thrice. The album was released on May 27, 2016, through Vagrant Records. ''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' is Thrice's first release after a four-year hiatus that lasted from mid-2012 to mid-2015, and the band's first album of original material in five years since 2011's ''Major/Minor''. During the hiatus, most of the band members continued performing music and pursued other interests, which included moving to other cities or states with their new families. After reuniting and performing sporadic festival dates in 2015, Thrice announced the band's intention to release a new album the following year. Because of the distance between the members' new homes, the demos for ''To Be Everywhere Is to Be Nowhere'' were written, recorded, shared and worked on digitally using software programs that were not as prevalent before they went on hiatus. Produced by Eric Palmquist, the resulting recording was ...

Major/Minor (album)
''Major/Minor'' is the eighth studio album by American rock band Thrice. The album was released on September 6, 2011, through Vagrant Records. Recording and production Thrice entered Red Bull Studios in early May 2011 with producer Dave Schiffman. The group had previously worked with Schiffman on 2005's ''Vheissu'' as an audio engineer, and on 2009's ''Beggars'' as a mixer. Thrice also previously used Red Bull Studios to record their acoustic live EP '' The MySpace Transmissions'' in 2007. When Thrice presented Schiffman with the demos they had been working on, his initial reaction was that the group was trying to make a grunge album. According to vocalist Dustin Kensrue, this was not their intention, and the finished product after production sounded "kind of bigger and meaner than the demos." Both musically and production-wise, the group's previous album ''Beggars'' was a "stripped-down" record, and Thrice wanted ''Major/Minor'' to sound "bigger and in-your-face" without sound ...

Beggars (album)
''Beggars'' is the seventh studio album by American rock band Thrice. It was released digitally through Vagrant Records in the UK on August 9, 2009, and in the US on August 11, 2009. A physical release containing bonus material was released on September 15, 2009. Background and production Between September 2006 and June 2007, Thrice recorded a project revolving around the elements fire, water, air and earth. Dubbed ''The Alchemy Index'', it was released as two double-discs sets: '' Vols. I & II: Fire & Water'' in October 2007, and '' Vols. III & IV: Air & Earth'' in April 2008. Writing for ''Beggars'' began in January 2009, with the band aiming to make the record "a little more upbeat and energetic" following their two previous projects, ''Vheissu'' and ''The Alchemy Index'', which they felt had a "sleepy feeling" to them. Though Kensrue took a break from the writing process to go on a brief US tour later in the month. ''The Alchemy Index'' saw the group write to theme-specific el ...

Classical Element
Classical elements typically refer to earth, water, air, fire, and (later) aether which were proposed to explain the nature and complexity of all matter in terms of simpler substances. Ancient cultures in Greece, Tibet, and India had similar lists which sometimes referred, in local languages, to "air" as "wind" and the fifth element as "void". These different cultures and even individual philosophers had widely varying explanations concerning their attributes and how they related to observable phenomena as well as cosmology. Sometimes these theories overlapped with mythology and were personified in deities. Some of these interpretations included atomism (the idea of very small, indivisible portions of matter), but other interpretations considered the elements to be divisible into infinitely small pieces without changing their nature. While the classification of the material world in ancient Indian, Hellenistic Egypt, and ancient Greece into Air, Earth, Fire and Water was ...
