TASIS Schools, formally established as the TASIS Foundation, is a private Swiss foundation which operates a group of four international schools (including both day and boarding schools), operating in Switzerland, England, Portugal, and Puerto Rico. TASIS England, formally known as TASIS The American School in England, is an American international boarding and day school in England. Founded in 1976, it is the second oldest of the TASIS Schools, a Swiss group of American international boarding schools. Located in Thorpe, Runnymede, in the County of Surrey, the school enrolls approximately 650 pupils from around the world. History TASIS stands for The American School in Switzerland. Dorado () is a town and municipality in the northern coast of Puerto Rico, west of San Juan and is located in the northern region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Toa Alta, east of Vega Alta, and west of Toa Baja. Montagnola () is a small Swiss village in Collina d'Oro municipality. Located in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino, it is close to the border between Switzerland and Italy.
