Slovenia
Slovenia ( ; sl, Slovenija ), officially the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: , abbr.: ''RS''), is a country in Central Europe. It is bordered by Italy to the west, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the southeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. The franc is any of various units of currency. One franc is typically divided into 100 centimes. Joannes Disma Floriantschitsch de Grienfeld (Slovenized as ''Ivan'' or ''Janez Dizma Florjančič de Grienfeld''; July 1, 1691 – 1757) was a Carniolan astronomer, mathematician, geographer, and cartographer.
