Saukrates Albums
Karl Amani Wailoo (born March 6, 1978), better known by his stage name Saukrates (; "Socrates"), is a Canadian rapping, rapper, singer, and record producer. He is the co-founder of Capitol Hill Music, and lead singer of the hip hop music, hip-hop/Contemporary R&B, R&B group Big Black Lincoln. He is also a member of Redman (rapper), Redman's Gilla House collective. Career Early career In 1994, his first track was titled "Still Caught Up", which earned a nomination for Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year, Best Rap Recording at the Juno Awards of 1996, 1996 Juno Awards. He was also nominated for another Juno of the same award in 2000 for "Money or Love". Clifford Smith, Jr. (born March 2, 1971), better known by his stage name Method Man, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor. He is known as a member of the East Coast hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He is also half of the hip hop duo Method Man & Redman. He took his stage name from the 1979 film ''Method Man''. X-Quisite was an R&B Canadian girl group. The trio made up of Nicole Holness, Melanie Fiona Hallim, Andreena Mill and later in 2003 new member, Nirvana Savoury was signed to Linus Entertainment (Then distributed by Warner Music Canada) soon after the group was established in 2002. ''Red Gone Wild: Thee Album'' is the sixth studio album by rapper Redman. It was released on March 27, 2007 via his own label Gilla House Records in conjunction with Def Jam Recordings. Background The album was delayed numerous times by Def Jam and Redman himself, with early promotion dating back to Ghostface Killah's 2004 album, ''The Pretty Toney Album''. Redman stated that he didn't want his album to get under promoted like recent Def Jam albums from Method Man, Ghostface, and The Roots, which explained the long delay for the release of ''Red Gone Wild''. ''The Underground Tapes'' is the debut studio album by Canadian rapper Saukrates, which was released June 22, 1999 in the United States through independent labels Serious Entertainment and Capitol Hill Music. In late summer 1999, the album was re-released in Canada with six additional tracks. Production was handled by Saukrates, Mr. Attic, Mike Caren, and Day. Three songs from the album—"Innovations", "Play Dis (99 Remix)", and "Rollin"—are remixes. The only single from the album was "Money or Love", which was nominated for a Juno Award in 2000.
