Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club
Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club (SCMC) was a Canadian outlaw motorcycle club that was once the dominant outlaw club in Ontario, with twelve chapters based in the province, and another in Montreal, Quebec, at its peak strength in 1977. Satan's Choice grew to more than 400 members by 1970, making it the second largest outlaw motorcycle club in the world, behind only the Hells Angels. The club was involved in First Montreal biker war, the first major outlaw biker conflict in Canadian history, when it engaged the country's second largest club, the Popeye Moto Club, Popeyes, from 1974 to 1976. Satan's Choice's power began to diminish during the late 1970s, with some of the club's chapters "patching over" to the Outlaws Motorcycle Club, Outlaws in 1977. Bernie Guindon
Bernard Dieudonné Guindon (born 19 November 1942), also known as "Bernie the Frog", is an ex communicated outlaw biker, Boxing, boxer, and registered sex offender. best known as the founder and national president of Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club from 1965 to 2000. He was later a member of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, Hells Angels until his retirement in 2006. In 2017 Guindon was excommunicated from the club after his memoir revealed informative club secrets. Youth Guindon was born in Hull, Quebec, Hull, Quebec (modern Gatineau) to French Canadians, French-Canadian parents. Ion Croitoru
Ion William Croitoru (December 7, 1963 – February 21, 2017) was a Canadian professional wrestler and outlaw biker, known to wrestling fans by his ring names Johnny K-9, Taras Bulba and Bruiser Bedlam. Croitoru worked in several Canadian wrestling promotions, including Stampede Wrestling, and later wrestled for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Smoky Mountain Wrestling (SMW) and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). He wrestled as a jobber in the WWF but was booked to win titles in several other promotions. Croitoru was notorious for his long history of legal problems. As a member of the Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club (SCMC), an outlaw biker gang, he was convicted of assault, trafficking cocaine and bombing a police station. An outlaw motorcycle club, known colloquially as a biker club or club (in Australia), is a motorcycle subculture generally centered on the use of Cruiser (motorcycle), cruiser motorcycles, particularly Harley-Davidsons and chopper (motorcycle), choppers, and a set of ideals that purport to celebrate freedom, Dissent, nonconformity to mainstream culture, and loyalty to the biker group. Gordon Van Haarlem
Gordon John van Haarlem (born 26 July 1956) is a Canadian outlaw biker who was one of the "Port Hope 8" tried in one of the most controversial trials in Canadian history. Richard Sauvé
Richard Michael Anthony Sauvé (born 27 July 1952) is a Canadian former outlaw biker, wrongly convicted of first degree murder in the Port Hope 8 case of 1979, turned social activist. Youth Sauvé was born into a working class French-Canadian family in Cobourg, the son of Pierre and Adeline Sauvé. He obtained employment at the Davidison Rubber factory in Port Hope and in 1972 started to date a 15-year-old high school student, Sharon. Sharon became pregnant and the couple were married in a shotgun wedding in October 1973. Sauvé's bride was 16 years old and five months pregnant. Their daughter, Angela, was born in January 1974. Armand Sanguigni
Armand Sanguigni (1951-8 October 1984) was a Canadian outlaw biker, gangster, and hitman for the Cotroni family who was one of the accused in the Port Hope 8 case. Satan's Choice hitman Sanguigni was born into a family of Italian immigrants in what is now Mississauga. He joined the Toronto chapter of Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club in 1969. A heroin addict, Sanguigni along with his fellow biker, Ken Goobie, was known as one of the loudest advocates of having Satan's Choice enter the business of selling heroin. Gennaro Raso
Gennaro Raso or Jimmy Raso is an Italian-Canadian outlaw biker, who is best known for co-founding the Loners Motorcycle Club with close friend Frank Lenti. He would end up retaining full leadership over the club in 1994 and currently serves as the club's International President. Early history Born in Gabella, Catanzaro, Italy on June 22, 1959, very little is known about the early years of his life, aside from when he was a young man, he and his family emigrated to Canada in February 1967. Mario Parente
Mario Parente (born 1949) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster, mostly noted for serving as the Canadian national president of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club between 2000 and 2009. Satan's Choice Parente was born in Hamilton, Ontario into a working-class family of Italian immigrants. Parente was born and grew up in the "lower" part of Hamilton under "the Mountain" as locals call the Niagara Escarpment. Jeff McLeod
Jeffery McLeod (born 1955) is a Canadian biker who was one of the Port Hope 8, members of the Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club accused of murder. McLeod's conviction for second degree murder is controversial. Satan's Choice McLeod was born into a middle-class family in Scarborough (modern Toronto). As a student at Warden Avenue Public School and at Corvette Junior Public School his grades were outstanding until his parents divorced, which caused him to fell into depression and a related decline in his grades. Francesco "Cisco" Lenti (born 1947) is a Canadian outlaw biker and gangster, and the co-founder of the Loners Motorcycle Club. Cecil Kirby
Cecil Kirby (born 17 August 1950) is a Canadian former outlaw biker, gangster and hitman for the Commisso 'ndrina, turned police informant. Early life Kirby was born into an Irish-Canadian family in the Weston neighbourhood of Toronto on 17 August 1950, and was twice expelled from elementary school for unruly behaviour. Larry Hurren
Lawrence James Hurren (1 May 1955 – 30 July 1996) was a Canadian outlaw biker and one of the Port Hope 8. Satan's Choice An young man from Oshawa who worked at various times as an automobile worker or a cabbie, Hurren was a close friend of Lorne Edgar Campbell with he had boarded with as a teenager. Campbell had sponsored Hurren into the Satan's Choice Motorcycle Club. Hurren fought as an amateur boxer with Campbell as his manager. Despite their friendship, Campbell once nearly shot Hurren he attempted to break into the Oshawa clubhouse after he lost his key.
