SB19 Songs
SB19 is a Filipino boy band that debuted in 2018, the pentad—consisting of members Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh. They were trained for 4 years by ShowBT Philippines, beginning in 2016. They are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated in ''Billboard'' Music Awards for the Top Social Artist category. They are also the first Southeast Asian act to enter the top 10 of ''Billboard'' Social 50 weekly and year-end charts. SB19 promotes its music as part of Pinoy pop (P-pop)—a popular sub-genre of Original Pilipino Music. Name The letters in the group name were from the initials of their Korean management company, ShowBT. The number 19 is derived from the country calling codes of South Korea (+82) and of the Philippines (+63)- the difference of 82 and 63, and the sum of the digits (8 + 2 + 6 + 3). Next Big Sound (NBS) is a New York-based company which provides analytics for online music. The company analyses the popularity of musicians in social networks, streaming services, and radio. The company was acquired by Pandora Radio in May 2015. It was written by all of the members of the group and produced by Oh Won Lee and Glow. It has won Song of the Year in Myx Music Awards and Pop Performance of the Year in Wish Music Awards.
