Patrick Henry High School is a four-year public high school in San Diego, California, United States. It is part of the San Diego Unified School District. It is attended by students residing in Del Cerro, San Carlos, Allied Gardens, Mission Valley and the College Area. Patrick Henry High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The campus includes a counseling center, child development center, computer and science labs, a cafetorium, library and a performing arts theater. The mascot of Patrick Henry High School is the Patriot, a reference to Patrick Henry the American Founding Father. Patrick Henry High School participates in the Voluntary Ethnic Enrollment Program (VEEP) whereby approximately 600 students travel daily from an underrepresented minority community and are regularly enrolled, full-time students. Patrick Henry High School (Stockbridge, Georgia)
Patrick Henry High School (PHHS) was located at 109 South Lee Street in Stockbridge, Georgia, United States. It was the alternative high school for the Henry County School System. It was closed after the 2015 school year after the Board of Education made the decision to move the alternative school to a different location in the county. The building is still being used today as a rental space for the filming industry and an adjacent building is used for professional development meetings. The building was the original Stockbridge High School. Patrick Henry High School relocated to the old McDonough Elementary School in McDonough and was renamed Excel Academy. The school is named for American Founding Father Patrick Henry and is referred to colloquially by community members as "Patrick Henry" or "Henry". It had a student population of about 1,000 by the early 2020s. History Renovations After renovations in the late 1990s moved the main entrance, the address of the school became 4320 Newton Avenue North. Name change In 2018, community members reexamined the legacy of naming the school for Patrick Henry—a slave owner. Patrick Henry High School is a public high school in Hamler, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Patrick Henry Local Schools district. Named for American Founding Father Patrick Henry, their nickname is the Patriots with their colors being Red, White, and Blue. They are members of the Northwest Ohio Athletic League. Patrick Henry consolidated in 1969 and houses students from Hamler, Deshler and Malinta, Ohio. Patrick Henry is one of four high schools in Hanover County, and the only High school in the western half of the county. In 1959, after years of deliberation, Patrick Henry High School began with the consolidation of Beaverdam, Henry Clay, Montpelier, and Rockville high schools. The western Hanover County high school enrolled students in grades eight through twelve. The name of the school, as well as the name of its literary publications, ''The Voice'', ''The Spark'', and ''The Orator'', reference the history of American Founding Father Patrick Henry, Hanover County's most illustrious citizen.
