Karol Mikloš
Karol Mikloš (born 1972) is a Slovak recording artist. A former member of a gothic rock band known as Shellwoy (1992–1993), recorded his own self-titled demo EP in 1994. His full-length debut, ''The Same Mist Here'' (1997), saw its official results on Róbert Gregor's Agency – G.A. Records. The guitar-based work made under production by Ladislav Lučenič, spawned a Grammy Slovakia Award-nomination as the New Artist. Its electronic follow-up issued on Millennium Records, ''Vis-à-vis'' (2002), became a Best Male Vocal Performance-nominee in favor of local Aurel Awards. While '' The Past of the Future'' (2008) with a more acoustic sound, was nominated for so-called Radio Head Awards, for a change. Apart from performing and composing skills for his own, Mikloš has occasionally been involved in production, audio and mastering engineering, mixing and programming for fellow artists. Nová Dubnica
Nová Dubnica (german: Neudubnitz; hu, Újtölgyes) cz, Nová Dubnice) is a town in Trenčín Region, Slovakia. Geography It is located in the Ilava Basin at the foothills of the Strážovské vrchy mountains. History The town was established in the 1950s originally for the purpose of housing workers of the local heavy machinery factory ''Závody ťažkého strojárstva''. Therefore, it can be described as a bedroom community. Construction started in 1951, and became separate from Dubnica nad Váhom and from parts of cadastral areas of Trenčianske Teplice and Veľký Kolačin municipalities in 1957 and was named Nová Dubnica and received town rights in 1960. Acoustic Music
Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means. The Past Of The Future
''The Past of the Future'' is the third studio album by Slovak musician Karol Mikloš, released on May 20, 2008. Issued by Deadred Records, the set was distributed in the neighboring Czech Republic through Starcastic Records, and virtually by Music Kickup. As such, the work followed the pattern of his previous release ''Vis-à-vis'' (2002), in which Mikloš began his gradual transition into the electronic circles. Unlike its predecessor, ''The Past of the Future'' featured a live instrumentation. Mikloš reprised his collaboration with Andrej Monček for one song, "You Never Listen", promoted also on a single, which became his highest charting outcome on the SK Rádio Top 50 to date, debuting and peaking at number twenty-six. The rest of the compositions were written mostly by Mikloš himself and entered the top-forty of the component airplay list, with the exception of "Insane" from 2006. , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts.
