Holiday-themed horror films or holiday horror are a subgenre of horror films set during holidays. Genre () is any form or type of communication in any mode (written, spoken, digital, artistic, etc.) with socially-agreed-upon conventions developed over time. Father's Day is a holiday of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society.
