Football (soccer)
Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. El Mahalla El Kubra ( ar, المحلة الكبرى, , , ) – commonly shortened to ' – is the largest city of the Gharbia Governorate and in the Nile Delta, with a population of 535,278 as of 2012. It is a large industrial and agricultural city in Egypt, located in the middle of the Nile Delta on the western bank of the Damietta Branch tributary. The city is known for its textile industry, and hosts the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company which employs around 27,000 people. Etymology El Mahalla El Kubra consists of two words: El Mahalla in Arabic means "''district''" or "''encampment",'' El Kubra means ''"great"''. Haras El Hodood
Haras El Hodood Sporting Club ( ar, نادي حرس الحدود الرياضي, lit=Border Guard Club), is an Egyptian professional sports club based in El Max, Alexandria. It is best known for its professional football team, that competes in the Egyptian Premier League. History Haras El Hodood were founded in 1932 under the name of El-Sawahel Social Sporting Club, before being renamed to its current name on 16 July 1974. They were at first place after 14 matches in the 2011–12 Egyptian Premier League, before the season was cancelled due to the Port Said Stadium disaster. Port Said Governorate
Port Said Governorate is one of the Canal Zone governorates of Egypt. It is located in the northeastern part of the country, on the Mediterranean Sea at the northern gate of the Suez Canal, making it the second most important harbor in Egypt. Al Masry Sporting Club ( ar, النادي المصري للألعاب الرياضية) is an Egyptian sports club based in Port Said, Egypt. The club is mainly known for its professional football team, that competes in the Egyptian Premier League, the highest division of the Egyptian football league system. Al Masry has never won the league, but won their one Egyptian Cup in 1998. The club plays their home matches at the Port Said Stadium, with a capacity of 17,988.
