Nepal Federal Socialist Party ( ne, नेपाल संघीय समाजवादी पार्टी; abbreviated NFSPनेसंस पार्टी) is a political party in Nepal. The party was formed on 17 December 2016 by Mohammad Rizwan Ansari. History Background Mohammad Rizwan Ansari was a member of the Federal Socialist Party that was founded by Ashok Kumar Rai after breaking away from the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist). Federal Socialist Party eventually merged with Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum, Nepal led by Upendra Yadav and Khas Samabesi Party to form Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal. The Bibeksheel Sajha Party ( Nepali: विवेकशील साझा पार्टी) is a political party in Nepal. It was the sixth largest party of Nepal by popular vote after 2017 Nepalese general election. Presently, its the fifth largest party in Bagmati provincial assembly. Background It was originally founded on 26 July 2017 from the merger of Sajha Party and Bibeksheel Nepal Dal, but the party split on 11 January 2019. The two parties merged for a second time on 9 December 2020. Recently, Bibeksheel Sajha Party has adopted Rabindra Mishra's document 'Changing Course: Nation Above Notion' that proposes abolition of federalism and a plebiscite on secularism. The party stands as a national party in Nepal and is the seventh-largest party since the 2022 general election. History Formation Formerly known as Alliance for Independent Madhesh, it was formed by former secessionist leader C. K. Raut. It was formed after signing an 11-point agreement with the government of Nepal and resulted in ending his separatist movement with KP Oli. The party was formed on 18 March 2019 after a two-day conclave held on 17–18 March in front of 50 delegates representing 22 districts of Nepal's Terai region. The People's Socialist Party, Nepal ( abbr. PSP-N; ne, जनता समाजवादी पार्टी, नेपाल), also known as Janata Samajbadi Party is the sixth-largest political party in Nepal. Since the 2022 local election, the party has been limited to stand only as the third largest party of Madhesh Province after the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) respectively. The Terai–Madhesh Loktantrik Party ( ne, तराई-मधेस लोकतान्त्रिक पार्टी (तमलोपा)) is a political party in Nepal. Although the party's primary base is still in Terai Madhesh of Madhesh Province only, it has tried to expand its throughout Terai and Tharuhath regions of Nepal. The party was officially registered at Election Commission on 13 December 2021.
