Federal Corporation () is a Taiwan-based tire manufacturer, headquartered in Zhongli District, Taoyuan City Taiwan. The ''Federal Express'' (after April 1939, officially known as just the ''Federal'') was an overnight named passenger train run by the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad between Washington, DC's Union Station and Boston, Massachusetts's South Station from 1912 to 1971. At different times, its route has taken it across the Hudson River via a car float between Port Morris and Jersey City (the ferry ''Maryland''), the Poughkeepsie Bridge, and finally the Pennsylvania Tunnel and Terminal Railroad. The final routing was identical to today's high-speed Northeast Corridor. The train carried sleeping cars and coaches, as well as mail and baggage. As the train operated well outside of dinner hours after 1917 (10:00 - 11:00 PM departure), food service was limited to beverages and light snacks on departure, and continental breakfast in the morning, generally dispensed from a lounge car which also contained sleeping accommodations. The ''Twilight Shoreliner'' was a passenger train operated by Amtrak on the Northeast Corridor between Boston, Massachusetts, and Newport News, Virginia, via New York City and Washington, D.C. Amtrak introduced it in 1997 to replace the '' Night Owl''. It was discontinued in 2003 in favor of the ''Federal''. History The ''Twilight Shoreliner'' replaced the '' Night Owl'' as Amtrak's dedicated overnight service on the Northeast Corridor. Amtrak equipped the train with a Viewliner sleeping car, replacing the Heritage Fleet equipment used by the ''Night Owl''. The new train also featured a Custom-class coach and the specially-branded "Twilight Café," which served hot meals and was restricted to sleeper- and custom-class passengers. Finally, Amtrak extended the southern terminus from Washington, D.C., to Newport News, Virginia, and moved the departure time from Boston from 10 PM to 8 PM. Colonia Federal is a colonia in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City, just south of the Mexico City International Airport. The neighborhood is known for its particular shape that resembles a spider web. History and design The neighborhood was built on the Llanos de Balbuena, land previously owned by the Braniff family, a bourgeois family living in the country ( Alberto Braniff, the first aviator of Latin America, was a member of it). In 1908, the government of the country acquired of land. The government considered creating a cemetery in the area, but since it was located far from the city center, the idea was discarded. Federal Corners is a former hamlet located in the Town of Richfield, New York, in Otsego County, United States, approximately 1.5 miles southeast of the village of Richfield Springs, at the corner of Butternut Road and Cemetery Road. Federal Corners "lay near the intersection of an old route from the Mohawk Valley to Canadarago Lake and the Third Great Western Turnpike, opened in 1808".
