Novotroitske ( uk, Новотроїцьке) is an urban-type settlement in Henichesk Raion, Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine. It hosts the administration of the Novotroitske settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. It had a population of Administrative status Until 18 July, 2020, Novotroitske was the administrative center of Novotroitske Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Kherson Oblast to five. The area of Novotroitske Raion was merged into Henichesk Raion. Kherson Oblast ( uk, Херсо́нська о́бласть, translit=Khersónsʹka óblastʹ, ), also known as Khersonshchyna ( uk, Херсо́нщина, ), is an oblast (province) in southern Ukraine, currently claimed and partly occupied by Russia. Sports Club Tavriya ( uk, Спортивний клуб "Таврія") was a Ukrainian football club from Simferopol. Tavriya was a member of the Ukrainian Premier League from its founding and won the first Ukrainian Premier League making them one of three teams that have ever held this title. The football competitions in the Second League kicked off on 6 September 2020, about half a month after promotion/relegation playoffs. The Ukrainian Cup ( uk, Кубок України) is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Igor Vasilyevich Gamula (russian: Игорь Васильевич Гамула, uk, Ігор Васильович Гамула; 17 February 1960 – 8 December 2021) was a Ukrainian and Russian professional association football, football coach and player. He was also a scout for FC Rostov. He made his debut in the Soviet Top League in 1978 for FC Zorya Luhansk, FC Zorya Voroshylovhrad. Gamula had Ukrainian and Russian citizenship.
