Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (English language, English: His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club; Abbreviation, abbrev: DPMM or Brunei DPMM) is a professional association football, football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The club set to play in the Malaysia Super League from 2025–26 Malaysia Super League, 2025–26, the top tier of Malaysian football after last playing in the Singapore Premier League until 2024–25. Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium
Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium (; abbrev. SNHB) is a multi-purpose stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is currently used mostly for association football matches. The stadium holds 28,000 and was opened on 23 September 1983. It was named after Bruneian Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Construction The idea of constructing a modern stadium in Brunei was first made by the former Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien III to commemorate the visit of Elizabeth II on February 29, 1972. A meeting was held on May 16, 1972 on which the special committee made a decision to build a stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan. Unusually for a public building in Brunei, members of the public donated and contributed towards the building of the stadium. Although the final collection of $1,102,761.57 accounted for a little more than 1.1 percent of the total building cost ($100 million), the public participation showed the Bruneians' great interest and support for this project. 2009 Singapore League Cup
The 2009 Singapore League Cup kicked off on 1 June. For this season, the 12 teams will be divided into four groups of three in the preliminary round which will be played on a round-robin basis. The top two teams from each group qualify for the next round which will be played on a knockout (single elimination) basis. Sri Pahang Football Club () is a Malaysian professional football club based in Kuantan, Pahang. They currently play in the Malaysia Super League, the top tier of Malaysian football. The Brunei Football Association used to enter a team in Malaysian football competitions. The team won the Malaysia Cup in 1999. The team played at the 35,000-seat Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan. History Brunei first entered the Malaysian football league competitions in 1979. When the Liga Semi-Pro was introduced in Malaysia in 1989, Brunei also were invited along with Singapore, the other foreign team in Malaysian competition.
