Can Tho International Airport — formerly Trà Nóc Airport — is an international airport located in Can Tho in Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The airport was inaugurated on January 1, 2011 and received US$150 million to build on of land. It aimed to be able to process up to 5 million passengers a year. It serves air travel in the region, boosting Mekong Delta's economy, improving defence, security and international integration. History Trà Nóc Airport was originally constructed during the Vietnam War in 1965 by United States Air Force (USAF) civil engineering units as a military airfield, which became Binh Thuy Air Base. It was used by the USAF as well as being the Headquarters of the Republic of Vietnam Air Force (VNAF) 4th Air Division until 1975. Phu Quoc International Airport
Phu Quoc International Airport is an international airport that serves Phú Quốc Island, in southern Vietnam. It covers nearly 900 hectares of land area in the commune of Dương Tơ, about south of the administrative centre of Phú Quốc City. It is built at a cost of around Vietnamese Dong, VND 16.2 trillion (US$810 million) and is planned to be built in phases. The airport is 10 km from the previous Duong Dong Airport, Phu Quoc Airport, which it replaced. The airport was initially able to handle about 2.5 million passengers per annum, and the maximum capacity will be 7 million passengers per annum. It used to be one of the two major military airbases in Vietnam, along with Gia Lam Airbase in Hanoi. Buon Ma Thuot Airport
Buon Ma Thuot Airport is a public airport in Vietnam. The airport is located near the provincial capital Buon Ma Thuot in Đắk Lắk province. Another name for this airport is Phung-Duc Airport. It has one functional runway. A second incomplete runway (marked with a faded 27 R) is not in use. Two aprons are located on the south side of the airport with buildings that appeared to be used for aircraft storage. A barracks-like camp is located to the north side of the airport. Thọ Xuân Airport — also known as Thanh Hoá Air Base or Bái Thượng Air Base, formerly Sao Vàng Airport () — is an airport located in Sao Vàng town in Thọ Xuân District, Thanh Hóa Province, 45 km northwest of the provincial capital Thanh Hóa. Da Nang International Airport is an international airport serving the area of Central Vietnam and the region's largest city Da Nang. Lien Khuong International Airport is an airport located in Đức Trọng district, about south of Da Lat, Lâm Đồng province.
