Joseph Julien Jean-Pierre Côté (January 9, 1926 – July 10, 2002) was a Canadian parliamentarian and the 23rd Lieutenant Governor of Quebec. Early life Born in Montreal, Quebec, the son of Émile Côté and Cédia Roy, he studied to be a dental technician at the École technique de denturologie in Montreal. Member of Parliament In the 1963 federal elections, he was elected in the riding of Longueuil as the Liberal candidate. He was re-elected in 1965 and 1968. He held quite a few ministerial positions including Postmaster General, Minister of National Revenue, Minister without Portfolio, and Minister of Communications (Acting). Sylvain Côté (born January 19, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who spent 19 seasons in the NHL, the majority of them with the Washington Capitals. Suzanne Côté
Suzanne Côté (born September 21, 1958) is a puisne justice of the Supreme Court of Canada. She was nominated by Prime Minister Stephen Harper to replace retiring justice Louis LeBel. Before her appointment to the Supreme Court, she was a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP and previously Stikeman Elliott LLP in Montréal. She is the first woman appointed to the Supreme Court directly from private practice. Early life and education She had wanted to be a lawyer since age 11. He played in six seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), and later played the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey in his native Quebec. Biography Côté was born in LaSalle, Quebec. As a youth, he played in the 1989 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Saint-Laurent, Quebec. Selected 37th overall by the Dallas Stars in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, Côté played only eight NHL games in three seasons with the Stars. He signed with the Nashville Predators where he scored three points (one goal and two assists) in 91 games over two seasons, picking up 313 penalty minutes. Patrick Côté (; born February 29, 1980) is a retired Canadian professional mixed martial artist. A professional from 2002 until 2017, Côté is perhaps best known for his 21-bout career in the UFC, and was a finalist on season four of The Ultimate Fighter. Background Côté was born in Rimouski, Québec, Canada, on February 29, 1980. Côté started his martial arts training in the Canadian Army at around age of 16, where he took up boxing and subsequently added muay thai, kickboxing and wrestling to his repertoire. Michel Côté (born June 25, 1950) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his performances in the films ''Cruising Bar'', '' Life After Love (La vie après l'amour)'' and ''C.R.A.Z.Y.'', the theatrical show ''Broue'' and the television series ''Omertà''. Career Côté taught introductory acting and improvisation at the Option Theatre in Ste. Therese until 1977. He subsequently cofounded a small theatre, Vogagements.
