Córdoba (newspaper)
''Córdoba'', sometimes called ''Diario Córdoba'', is a Spanish language newspaper from the city of Córdoba and is the major source of news from the province. It has been published continuously since 25 July 1941. History Founded on 25 July 1941, they were the successor of the Falangista newspaper ''Azul'', the official organ of Falange Española Tradicionalista y de las JONS in the province of Córdoba. For this reason, the newspaper belonged to the during Francoist Spain. For almost forty years, it was the only newspaper that existed in the capital of Córdoba, having a modest circulation of about 5,000 copies during the 1940s and 1950s. At the beginning of the 1970s, circulation had increased to 9000 copies. Grupo Zeta
Grupo Zeta is a Spanish media conglomerate which owns several newspapers and magazines. Founded by Antonio Asensio in 1976, it launched the magazines ''Interviú'' and ''Tiempo'' before its most successful title, the daily newspaper ''El Periódico de Catalunya''. From 1986 to 2017, it owned the publishing house Ediciones B. In 2008, debts of €140 million led to the company making large redundancies and taking a €245 million loan. Grupo Zeta was acquired by Prensa Ibérica in 2019, a year after shutting down the physical copies of its first two magazines. Its assets at the time were eight newspapers and twelve magazines. ''ABC'' () is a Spanish national daily newspaper. It is the second largest general-interest newspaper in Spain, number one in Madrid, and the oldest newspaper still operating in Madrid. Along with '' El Mundo'' and '' El País'', it is one of Spain’s three newspapers of record. History and profile ''ABC'' was first published in Madrid on 1 January 1903 by Torcuato Luca de Tena y Álvarez-Ossorio. ''Diario Sur'' (also called ''SUR'') (English: Southern Daily) is a regional newspaper of Málaga, Spain. It is owned by the Prensa Malagueña, S.A., owned by Grupo Vocento. History and profile The newspaper was founded in February 1937. Initially it was called ''Arriba'' but soon rechristened ''SUR'', taking its name from that of a national paper. It has its headquarters in Málaga.
