Césinha
Carlos César dos Santos (born 12 March 1980), known as Césinha, is a Brazilian former footballer who played as a left winger. Club career Born in São Paulo, Césinha represented Esporte Clube Juventude in his country's Série A. He moved abroad in 2004, joining S.C. Braga in Portugal and making his Primeira Liga debut on 30 August by coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2–2 away draw against Académica de Coimbra; in his first season he scored in both league matches with S.C. Beira-Mar, helping to a 4–1 away win and a 1–1 home draw respectively. In the summer of 2007, Césinha was sold to Romanian side FC Rapid București for €600,000. He netted five goals in his debut campaign, helping his team rank third in Liga I. Released by Rapid in 2011 at the age of 31, Césinha went on to represent several clubs in quick succession before returning to his country after signing with lowly Brasiliense Futebol Clube. Fotbal Club Rapid 1923, commonly known as Rapid București () or simply as Rapid, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest, which competes in the Liga I. It was founded in 1923 by employees of the Grivița workshops as ''Asociația Culturală și Sportivă CFR'' ("CFR Cultural and Sports Association"). Domestically, Rapid București is one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won three national titles, 13 Cupa României and four Supercupa României. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. The Supercupa României ( en, Romanian Supercup) is a Romanian football championship contested by the winners of the Liga I and the Cupa României. It is usually played at the Arena Națională in Bucharest. The competition started off in 1994, with the first edition being won by Steaua București. In 2010, for the first time in its history, the Supercup was held even though CFR Cluj had been victorious in both the league and the cup in the previous season. At that time, they faced Unirea Urziceni, the Liga I runners-up. The Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1, is a Romanian professional league for men's association football clubs. Currently sponsored by betting company Superbet, it is officially known as the SuperLiga. It is the country's top football competition, being contested by 16 clubs which take part in a promotion and relegation system with the Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table. The 2007–08 Liga I was the ninety season of Liga I, the top-level football league of Romania. Season began on 27 July 2007 and ended on 7 May 2008. CFR Cluj became champions, winning their first trophy and ending a 17-year-long reign of Bucharest based teams. CFR Cluj will play in the Champions League group stage, while Steaua București qualified for the Champions League third qualifying round. Rapid București, Dinamo București, Unirea Urziceni and Politehnica Știința Timișoara qualified for the UEFA Cup first round.
