César Obando
César Augusto Obando Villeda, nicknamed ''El Nene'', (born 26 October 1969) is a retired Honduran professional football player who is considered one of the best players ever in Honduras but a serious injury cut his career early. Club career The diminutive Obando played in the Liga Nacional de Fútbol de Honduras for F.C. Motagua, C.D. Victoria and Real C.D. España. He also played abroad with Mexican outfit Correcaminos UAT, with fellow Honduran Eugenio Dolmo Flores at Peruvian side Universitario and in Costa Rica with Cartaginés. At Cartaginés, he played alongside compatriots Arnold Cruz and Christian Santamaría but was released in February 2003. He played in the 1994 Copa Libertadores with Universitario, where the club were eliminated by Independiente Medellín in the knock-out stages. Tegucigalpa
Tegucigalpa (, , ), formally Tegucigalpa, Municipality of the Central District ( es, Tegucigalpa, Municipio del Distrito Central or ''Tegucigalpa, M.D.C.''), and colloquially referred to as ''Tegus'' or ''Teguz'', is the capital and largest city of Honduras along with its sister city, Comayagüela. 1991 UNCAF Nations Cup
The 1991 UNCAF Nations Cup was the inaugural UNCAF Nations Cup, the Central American championship for men's national association football teams. It was organized by the ''Unión Centroamericana de Fútbol'' or UNCAF, and it took place in Costa Rica from 26 May to 2 June 1991. All matches were played in the Costa Rican capital, San José at the Estadio Nacional. The top two teams, apart from Costa Rica, go on to participate in the 1991 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Costa Rica were given a bye due to their performance at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Three teams qualified to enter the tournament alongside hosts Costa Rica, chosen to hold the tournament by UNCAF that same year. Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano is a multi-purpose stadium in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is currently used mostly for football matches and also has facilities for athletics.
