Cà Mau Airport
Cà Mau Airport ( vi, Sân bay Cà Mau) is a small airport in Cà Mau Province, the most southern part of Vietnam. The airport is currently served by Vietnam Aviation Service Company (VASCO) with flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Tan Son Nhat International Airport, SGN). The coordinates are: 105°10'46" E and 09°10'32" N. History Initially built by the French colonists as ''Moranc Airfield'' at Quản Long town, An Xuyên province (now Cà Mau City) with the runway of 400 m long and 16 m wide. June 1962, Bureau of Aviation of the Republic of Vietnam rebuilt this airfield in an area of 91.61 hectares, the runway of 1050m x 30m, the apron 60m x 120 m and renamed it ''Quan Long Airport'' (''Phi trường Quản Long''). This airport was used mainly for military purpose, serving helicopters, L19, OV10, Dakota, C130 and some other kind of fighters. Airbus 320
The Airbus A320 family is a series of narrow-body airliners developed and produced by Airbus. The A320 was launched in March 1984, first flew on 22 February 1987, and was introduced in April 1988 by Air France. Ho Chi Minh City Airport
Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport ( vi, Sân bay quốc tế Tân Sơn Nhất or Cảng hàng không quốc tế Tân Sơn Nhất) is the busiest airport in Vietnam with 32.5 million passengers in 2016 and 38.5 million passengers in 2018. It serves Ho Chi Minh City as well as the rest of southeastern Vietnam. As of January 2017, it had a total capacity of only 25 million passengers, which has caused constant congestion and sparked debate for expanding or building a new airport. Noi Bai International Airport
Nội Bài International Airport ( vi, Sân bay quốc tế Nội Bài) in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is the second largest and busiest airport for passenger traffic, after Tan Son Nhat International Airport. It is currently the main airport serving Hanoi, replacing the role of Gia Lam Airport. The airport consists of two passenger terminals. Terminal 1 serves domestic flights, and the newly built Terminal 2 (inaugurated on 4 January 2015) serves all international flights to and from Hanoi. The airport is currently the main hub of the flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and budget carriers Bamboo Airways, Pacific Airlines and Vietjet Air. Vietnam Air Services Company (VASCO) ( vi, Công ty bay dịch vụ hàng không) is an airline headquartered in Tân Bình, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. A fully owned subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, it mainly operates regional scheduled flights on behalf of Vietnam Airlines. It also conducts charter flights, medical evacuations, SAR operations, oil platforms flights, and other aviation services. VASCO was established by government directive in 1987, and was originally a part of Vietnam Airlines, the national carrier. In aviation, the instrument landing system (ILS) is a precision radio navigation system that provides short-range guidance to aircraft to allow them to approach a runway at night or in bad weather. In its original form, it allows an aircraft to approach until it is over the ground, within a of the runway.
