Czral
Carl-Michael Eide (born 24 July 1974) is a Norwegian black metal musician, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist. He is also known under stage names Aggressor, Czral and Exhurtum. Biography Carl-Michael Eide has played in various black metal and avant-garde metal bands. These include Ved Buens Ende, Aura Noir, Cadaver, Dødheimsgard, Satyricon, Ulver, Infernö and recently the jazz/rock band Virus. His drumming is unusual in style, with very little repetition and a tendency to shy away from traditional drumming. His singing abilities are diverse. Other than usual harsh vocals in black metal, he uses a form of croon in the avant-garde metal bands Ved Buens Ende and Virus. He has gone back to playing guitar and was writing music for the re-grouped Ved Buens Ende, before the band once again split up in early 2007. Beyond that, he continues to write material for Aura Noir and Virus. He was also a session drummer for Dimmu Borgir on their 1997 tour. On 26 March 2005 he fell from a f ...

Cadaver (band)
Cadaver is a death metal band from Råde and Fredrikstad, Norway. The band had a brief venture in the early 1990s before splitting in 1993. Cadaver would eventually re-emerge as Cadaver Inc. in 1999 which consisted of only one founding member. For their next album, they fell back to using their original band name Cadaver and ended their activities in 2004, with their final live show in 2005. The band reformed in April 2019 and released their fifth album in 2020. History Anders Odden and Ole Bjerkebakke founded Cadaver in 1988. They were later joined by bassist René Jansen and in 1989 the trio released the "Abnormal Deformity" demo. The demo attracted the attention of Carcass (band), Carcass members, Bill Steer and Jeff Walker (musician), Jeff Walker, who signed the band to their Earache imprint label, Necrosis. The subsequent album, ''Hallucinating Anxiety'' was released in 1990 as a split with the Carnage (band), Carnage album ''Dark Recollections''. Shortly after the album's ...

Dødheimsgard
Dødheimsgard (also known as DHG) is a Norwegian extreme metal band formed in 1994. Dødheimsgard originally played black metal, but 1999's ''666 International'' saw them change their style into experimental and avant-garde/industrial metal. In 2000, they shortened their name to DHG. Their name,"Dødheimsgard" is a contraction of three words: ''Død'' which means 'death', ''heim'' which means 'home' and ''gard'' which means (at least in this context) 'realm'. A natural translation into English would be "Realm of Death". History Founding of the band and ''Kronet til Konge'' (1994–1995) The band was founded in 1994. At the time they consisted of three members: Vicotnik (drums, backing vocals), Fenriz (bass, additional vocals) and Aldrahn (lead vocals and guitar) This line up recorded a promotional demo before releasing their debut album ''Kronet til Konge'' on Malicious Records in 1995. After the release of the album they recorded another promotional demo. ''Monumental Posse ...

Virus (Norwegian Band)
Virus was a Norwegian avant-garde metal band signed to Jester Records. It was formed in 2000 by Carl-Michael Eide. Czral considered the band a continuation of his previous band Ved Buens Ende because of similar musical elements and an avant garde form of unusual experimentation, although the band had its own characteristic sound. History Virus released their debut, ''Carheart'', in August 2003. The band released their second album ''The Black Flux'' on November 10, 2008 through Season of Mist. A third album, ''The Agent That Shapes the Desert'', was released in February 2011.'The Agent That Shapes The Desert' announced on Duplicate-records.com

Vargnatt
''Vargnatt'' is the debut demo tape by Norwegian black metal band Ulver, issued in 1993 independently. The cassette was limited to 200 hand-numbered copies. The demo was self-produced by Ulver, and recorded in the Norwegian trollforest between 15 and 17 October 1993. This is the only release (besides a rehearsal tape) to feature guitarists Reza and Grellmund (the latter of which committed suicide in 1996), and drummer Czral, as they had left after the new year. Their music and style was consistent with the early Norwegian black metal subculture during the early 1990s. However some have noted the avant-garde, jazz, rock and gothic influences that would later shape the band's sound. The archaic Dano-Norwegian lyrics were greatly influenced by Scandinavian folktales and inspired by Baroque poets such as Ludvig Holberg and the hymn-writer Thomas Kingo. The cover art contains a 19th-century engraving of a werewolf from the Mansell Collection in London. According to ''Avantgarde Met ...

Ulver
Ulver (Norwegian for "wolves") is a Norwegian experimental electronica band founded in 1993, by vocalist Kristoffer Rygg. Their early works, such as debut album '' Bergtatt'', were categorised as folklore-influenced black metal, but the band has since evolved a fluid and increasingly eclectic musical style, blending genres such as experimental rock, electronica, ambient, trip hop, symphonic and chamber traditions, noise, progressive and experimental music into their oeuvre. 1997 marked their international debut with the release of their third album ''Nattens madrigal'' through German label Century Media. However, following discord with the label, Rygg formed his own imprint, Jester Records, in 1998. In 1997, Rygg invited composer and multi-instrumentalist Tore Ylwizaker into the band, and together they changed Ulver's musical direction. Their first musical endeavour together, ''Themes from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven and Hell'', drew from a variety of non-metal s ...
