Czech Republic National Long Track Team
The Czech Republic national long track team is the national long track motorcycle racing team of the Czech Republic and is controlled by the Autoklub of the Czech Republic (ACCR). The team was started in all editions of Team Long Track World Championship, but they never won a championship medal. Milan Špinka
Milan Špinka (born 5 May 1951) is a former international speedway rider from Czechoslovakia. Speedway career Špinka won the gold medal at the Individual Ice Speedway World Championship in the 1974 Individual Ice Speedway World Championship. He also won a silver and bronze medal at the Championships. He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1979 to 1983, riding for Ipswich Witches and Swindon Robins. Long Track Motorcycle Racing
left, Stadion Haunstetten, a Sandbahn track, 300x300px Long track (more commonly known as the longtrack, or German Sandbahn) is a version of track racing, that takes place on tracks ranging from in length at high speeds. There are also subtle differences between longtrack and speedway such as the machinery used in longtrack bike is slightly larger and has a two-speed gearbox. Races (or heats) usually consist of six riders although occasionally they have eight. Longtrack is very similar with another form of track racing, Grasstrack. The two sports use the same machinery and have a combined World Championship The sport is popular in Germany, perhaps even more so than speedway. Team Long Track World Championship
The FIM Team Long Track World Championship, known officially as the ''Longtrack of Nations'', is an annual track racing event since 2007 organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM). The championship has been won by Germany eight times. The 2020 Championships in Morizès, France and the 2021 Championships in Roden, Netherlands were both cancelled, due to the issues regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Pavel Ondrašík (born 10 December 1975 in Prague, Czechoslovakia) is a former motorcycle speedway rider. Career He first rode in the United Kingdom for the Trelawny Tigers in the Premier League. He stayed with the Tigers until their closure in 2003. He then spent seasons with Newport Wasps and the Exeter Falcons. His season with the Somerset Rebels was cut short in 2006 after he suffered a broken wrist. In 2000, he won the silver medal at the Czech Republic Individual Speedway Championship.
