CyBC
Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation ( gr, Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου , tr, Kıbrıs Radyo Yayın Kurumu), or CyBC (ΡΙΚ, KRYK), is Cyprus' public broadcasting service. It transmits island-wide on four radio and two domestic television channels, and uses one satellite channel for the Cypriot diaspora. It also transmits on a separate high definition channel. Roman Kariolou
Roman Kariolou (born 1983) is a Cypriot pianist and composer for TV and film. In addition to compositions for events in media and sport, he has written incidental and theme music for over fifty TV films and series as well as a number of documentaries since 2007. Specialising in TV and documentary film music, he has composed for BBC, CBS, ZDF, ORF, Discovery Channel, Arte and RAI TV series. He has also been composed to write official songs and music for sport and media opening ceremonies, including the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and the official song for the EHF's Champions League. Education He received violin lessons from the age of three and was invited to the Yehudi Menuhin School by Menuhin himself aged five. He was considered a child prodigy and performed in Vienna, London, Prague and Athens during his childhood. The Eurovision Young Musicians 2022 was the twentieth edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians. It took place at the Corum in Montpellier on 23 July 2022. The live show was hosted by French playwright Judith Chaine and Belgian radio presenter Vincent Delbushaye, with the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera Orchestra conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), this edition was co-hosted by French broadcasters Radio France and France Télévisions, as part of a summer series of music events called Festival Radio France Occitanie Montpellier. Musicians representing nine countries with EBU membership participated in the contest, with Austria and host country France returning. Orfeas ( el, Ορφέας), named after the mythical musician Orpheus, is a former municipality in the Evros regional unit, East Macedonia and Thrace, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Soufli, of which it is a municipal unit. Its land area is 643.266 km² (248.366 sq mi) and its population was 4,761 inhabitants at the 2011 census. It is located in the north-central part of Evros, and borders both southeastern Bulgaria and northwestern Turkey. The seat of the municipality was in Lavara (pop. 1,093 in 2011).
