Cypress Creek station is a Tri-Rail commuter rail station in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The station is located on North Andrews Way, west of North Andrews Avenue (SR 811) and I-95, and south of West Cypress Creek Road. Originally opened to service June 12, 1989, the station features a park and ride lot along West Cypress Creek Road between North Andrews Avenue and I-95. Another parking lot is located across the tracks at a cul-de-sac named Northwest 59th Court. History The station was originally scheduled to open on January 9, 1989, with the rest of the Tri-Rail system, but construction delays pushed its opening back a few months. Cypress Creek is a stream that flows from Snake Creek and Mound Creek in Waller County, Texas to its mouth at Spring Creek in Harris County, Texas. It is part of the Cypress Creek watershed, and flows into the west fork of the San Jacinto River watershed- eventually flowing to the Gulf of Mexico. Cypress Creek Emergency Medical Services Association, also known as Cypress Creek EMS (CCEMS) was a private, non-profit emergency medical service provider for Harris County ESD 11 in North Harris County, within greater Houston, Texas. In 2021, CCEMS declared bankruptcy and operations ceased in mid 2022. In late 2022, the remaining assets, branding, and trademarks were bought by Viking Enterprises, DBA City Ambulance Service. All ambulances in use by CCEMS are Mobile Intensive Care Units (MICU), with at least one Paramedic, making all ambulances ALS units. Little Cypress Creek Bridge
The Little Cypress Creek Brook is a historic bridge in rural western Phillips County, Arkansas. Located south of the hamlet of Postelle, it carries County Road 600 over Little Cypress Creek, west of Arkansas Highway 39. It consists of two spans of an aluminum-beam substructure, resting on concrete abutments and piers, with textured metal deck plating as the road surface. The bridge was built in 1942, and was probably designed by the engineering staff of the Arkansas State Highway Commission. It is a well-preserved example of a World War II-era bridge. The bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
