Cylindrophis Maculatus
The Ceylonese cylinder snake (''Cylindrophis maculatus'') is a species of snake in the family Cylindrophiidae endemic to Sri Lanka. It is known from plains up to 1000m, localities include Gampola, Peradeniya, Kandy, Pallekele, and Elahera in the central hills and Nikaweratiya Nikaweratiya is a town in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka. Carl Linnaeus (; 23 May 1707 – 10 January 1778), also known after his ennoblement in 1761 as Carl von Linné Blunt (2004), p. 171.
