Cycle (2008 Film)
''Cycle'' is a 2008 Indian Malayalam film directed by Johny Antony and written by James Albert, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan, Vinu Mohan, Sandhya, Bhama, and Jagathy Sreekumar. The tale is about two friends, Roy (Vineeth Sreenivasan) and Sanju (Vinu Mohan), struggling to make both ends meet with their low salaries, working respectively as a cashier in a private finance company and as a salesman in an electronics goods shop. It was a box office success. Plot The film, set at a shopping mall in Kochi as backdrop, is all about a few youngsters, Roy and Sanju and their love interests, Annie and Meenakshy. Long-ignored and mistreated by society for reasons none of theirs, they decide to take matters into their own hands. Johny Antony is an Indian film director and actor, known for making comedy films in Malayalam cinema. He is from Changanassery in Kottayam district, Kerala. He worked for about a decade as an associate to directors Thulasidas, Thaha, Taha, Kamal (director), Kamal and Jose Thomas. Antony made his directorial debut with the slapstick comedy ''C.I.D. Shankar is an Indian actor who has worked in Malayalam and Tamil films. He acted in nearly 200 films.In the 80s and early 90s he was the most prominent romantc lead actor of Malayalam cinema. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.
