Cybersoft, Inc. was an American video game publisher, which was a subsidiary of GameTek. It was designed to publish games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The GameTek name would be used on Sega Genesis titles, in a similar structure to THQ, with THQ, Malibu Games, and Acclaim Entertainment with their LJN label. GameTek
GameTek was an American video game publisher based in North Miami Beach, Florida known for publishing video game adaptations of game shows in the late 1980s and early 1990s. GameTek was a trade name for IJE, the owner of electronic publishing rights to ''Jeopardy!'' and ''Wheel of Fortune''. Originally IJE licensed these titles to ShareData of Chandler, Arizona; however, when IJE saw ShareData's success with the titles, IJE decided to publish the titles themselves, resulting in the founding of GameTek. After establishing distribution for the game show titles, GameTek branched out by licensing European titles for the North American market, including '' Frontier: Elite II'' and '' The Humans''. is a flight simulation game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995 Gameplay Players control an aircraft pilot of either the United States or the Japanese naval aviations during World War II. Based aboard an aircraft carrier, players can do numerous missions in an effort to help the war effort. Campaign modes allow for all aircraft to have their own statistics and allow players to carry certain types of aircraft into the combat zone. ''Spectre'' is a video game for the Macintosh, developed in 1990 by Peninsula Gameworks and published in 1991 by Velocity Development. It is a 3D vector graphics tank battle reminiscent of the arcade game '' Battlezone''. One sequel, ''Spectre VR'', appeared on a number of lists of best video games. Gameplay The goal of the game is to drive the tank around the playfield, collecting ten flags by driving over them, while avoiding obstacles (including rotating windmills) and the shots of computer-generated enemy tanks.
