''Cybersix'' is an Argentinean comic book series published in 1991, created by the Argentine authors Carlos Trillo (story) and Carlos Meglia (art) for the comics magazine '' Skorpio'' (Eura Editoriale). The series first appeared in Spanish in November 1993. It follows an eponymous leather-clad genetic engineering survivor who cross-dresses (to conceal her identity) and works as a male teacher during the day, and fights against the scientist who created her at night. The series was adapted into a live-action television series and an animated television series, with positive critical reception from Pulcinella Awards. Plot Von Reichter is a surviving member of Schutzstaffel in World War II. He works on experiments in South America, creating the ''Cyber'' series of artificial humanoids with super strength and agility. Cybersix (TV Series)
is an animated television series based on an Argentine comic strip series of the same name created by Argentine authors Carlos Trillo (story) and Carlos Meglia (art). The series was produced by the Vancouver-based Network of Animation (NoA) and animated in Japan by TMS Entertainment. Many of the comic's darker themes had to be toned down for the show in order to make it appropriate for all audiences. The series originally aired on Teletoon in Canada, Fox Kids in the United States, Kids Station in Japan and Telefe in Argentina. The show is about a leather-clad female gynoid who works as a male teacher during the day, and fights against the scientist who created her at night. The music for the series was composed by Robbi Finkel. Its opening and ending songs were composed by Finkel with lyrics by Robert Olivier and sung by jazz vocalist Coral Egan. Carlos Meglia
Carlos Meglia (December 11, 1957 – August 15, 2008) was a comic book artist and penciller born in the city of Quilmes, Argentina. One of his best-known creations is the ''Cybersix'' series, done in partnership with Carlos Trillo. Meglia died on August 15, 2008 at the age of 50. 1974 1974 is when Meglia debuted as an assistant to the illustrator Oswal Sanson, where he produced many illustrations for the magazines ''Pendulum'' and '' Skorpio''. 1979 Meglia illustrated the comic book adaptations of various literary classics such as ''Don Quichotte'', ''La Bible pour les Enfants'', and several books of Martin Fierro, the poet. Carlos Trillo
Carlos Trillo (May 1, 1943 – May 8, 2011) was an Argentine comic book writer, best known for writing the '' Cybersix'' comics. Biography Born in Buenos Aires, Trillo began a prolific career as writer at the age of 20, penning his first story for '' Patoruzú'' magazine. Trillo, together with Horacio Altuna, created the strip '' El Loco Chávez'', which appeared every day at the back of the newspaper '' Clarín'' from July 26, 1975 to November 10, 1987. After that, the strip was replaced by '' El Negro Blanco'', which he wrote for the artist Ernesto García Seijas until September 1993. He participated in the creation of several comics including '' Cybersix'' in 1992, with Carlos Meglia, and the erotic '' Clara de noche'' and ''Cicca Dum Dum'' series with Jordi Bernet.
