Cutelinho
Cutelinho Futebol Clube is a professional football club that currently plays in the Fogo Island League in Cape Verde. It is based in the village of Mosteiros in the northeastern part of the island and plays in the stadium with a capacity of 1000. Its current manager is Amarildo Baessa. Its nickname is ''leoninhos'' which means ''little lions'' in Portuguese. On September 2, 1996, the team faced Desportivo de Cova Figueira for the first time and defeated that club 3–1 in the opening tournament. History The club was founded on October 8, 1983. Their first and only title was won in 2003 and thus the only club from the island outside the capital São Filipe ever to win a championship title and one of the clubs to do so combined with cup and super cup titles. The 2013-14 Fogo Island League season was the competition of the second and third tiers of Association football, football on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, Fogo, Cape Verde. The 2011–12 Fogo Island League season began on 19 November and finished on 22 April. Académica do Fogo won their 11th title and qualified into the 2012 Cape Verdean Football Championships. The championship was organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol do Fogo, ARFF). Vulcânicos was the defending team of the title. 2003 Cape Verdean Football Championships
The 2003 Cape Verdean Football Championship season was the 24th of the competition of the first-tier football in Cape Verde. Its started on 17 May and finished on 2 August. The tournament was organized by the Cape Verdean Football Federation. No club participated in the 2004 CAF Champions League or the 2004 CAF Winner's Cup. Académica Do Fogo
Associação Académica do Fogo is a football club that currently plays in the Campeonato Nacional de Cabo Verde and in the Fogo Island League in Cape Verde. It is based in the island of Fogo and plays in the stadium with a capacity of 1000. The logo and the uniform as well as other teams with the name Académica and Académico in Cape Verde is identical to Académica de Coimbra, it features the volcanic mountain on the right. Estádio Francisco José Rodrigues is a multi-use stadium in Mosteiros on the island of Fogo, Cape Verde, as the island size is small, it is the only sports venue on the island. It is used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Cutelinho and Nô Pintcha dos Mosteiros, clubs based from other parts of the municipality also plays at the stadium including Grito Povo. The Fogo Island Opening Tournament ( Portuguese: ''Torneio de Abertura do Fogo'', Capeverdean Crioulo, ALUPEC or ALUPEK: ''Turnéu di Abertura du Fogo''), is an opening tournament competition (equivalent to a league cup) played during the season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde The competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association. Fogo Island Super Cup
The Fogo (Island) Super Cup (Portuguese: Super Taça do Fogo, Capeverdean Creole: ALUPEK: ''Super Tasa du Fogu'', Fogo Creole: ''Super Taça du Fogu'') is a regional super cup competition played during the season in the island of Fogo, Cape Verde. The competition is organized by the Fogo Regional Football Association (Associação Regional de Futebol do Fogo, ARFF). Its current champions is Vulcânicos who won their second title, which was their next in a decade. The regional champion competes with the cup champion.
