Righteous Vendetta is an American metalcore band that originated in Cody, Wyoming. Background Righteous Vendetta was formed in 2008 at Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming by Ryan Hayes (vocals), Zach Paris (drums) and Derek Workman (Electric Guitar), all formerly of the band "Silent Awakening" in Cody, Wyoming. The band has played shows with acts such as P.O.D., Skillet (band), Skillet, Red (American band), Red, and Taproot (band), Taproot. The band was signed to Red Cord Records but are now signed with Another Century Records. The band has released three full-length albums and three EPs. The band's lineup from 2013 to 2016 was Ryan Hayes (vocals), Justin Olmstead (guitars), Carl Heiman (guitars), Riley Haynie (bass guitar), and Zack Goggins (drums), until Heiman departed from the band and was replaced by Justin Smith. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Howie Weinberg is an American audio mastering engineer with over 2,257 mastering credits, three TEC Awards, 21 Grammy Awards, two Juno Awards, and one Mercury Prize. Career Weinberg mastered Herbie Hancock's 1983 album ''Future Shock''. Other mastering works include the Beastie Boys' ''Licensed to Ill'' and Nirvana's ''Nevermind''. Weinberg began working in the mail room at Masterdisk in 1979, delivering recording tapes in New York City. Mastering engineer Bob Ludwig acted as his mentor.
