Current is a 1992 Indian drama film. The film was co-written and directed by K. Hariharan, in his Hindi cinema debut, for the National Film Development Corporation of India. Starring Om Puri and Deepti Naval in the lead, the film focused on the plight of a farmer in rural India. The plot of the movie was based on a short story written by sahitya-akademi winner Ki. Current Publishing is a publishing company in Southern Maine that was founded by publisher Lee Hews in 2001. In November 2015, after fourteen years of independent publishing, the company was sold to Sun Media, the local, family-owned publishers of the ''Weekly Forecaster'' newspapers, the daily ''Lewiston Sun Journal'', and several other weekly newspapers in the state. ''The Current'' is a Canadian current affairs radio program which airs weekday mornings on CBC Radio One. It airs weekdays starting at 8:37 a.m. local time and runs until 10 a.m., and features interview sessions and radio documentaries that typically take up a half hour each.
