Curiouser (album)
''Curiouser'' is the second studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke. The first two singles, " Can't Shake It" and " Caught in the Crowd" received moderate success, while the third single "The Last Day on Earth" went on to become her first Australian top ten single, peaking at No. 3 on the ARIA singles chart. The album went on to become one of the most critically applauded albums of 2008 and is Miller-Heidke's first platinum-selling album. Kate Melina Miller-Heidke (; born 16 November 1981) is an Australian singer and songwriter. Although classically trained, she has generally followed a career in alternative pop music. She signed to Sony Australia, Epic in the US and RCA in the UK, but since 2014 has been an independent artist. Four of her solo studio albums have peaked in the top 10 of the ARIA Albums Chart, '' Curiouser'' (October 2008), ''Nightflight'' (April 2012), '' O Vertigo!'' (March 2014) and '' Child in Reverse'' (October 2020). Her most popular single, " The Last Day on Earth" (July 2009), reached No. 3 on the ARIA Singles Chart after being used in promos for TV soap, ''Neighbours'', earlier in that year. Teletext sends data in the broadcast signal, hidden in the invisible vertical blanking interval area at the top and bottom of the screen. The ARIA Charts are the main Australian music sales charts, issued weekly by the Australian Recording Industry Association. The charts are a record of the highest selling songs and albums in various genres in Australia. Bridget "Didge" Parker is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Eloise Mignon. In 2007 the show was revamped to boost falling ratings in Australia. As part of this, the show's focus returned to family dynamics and the character of Bridget and her family were created and introduced. Bridget made her first on-screen appearance on 23 July 2007. "Words" is a song by Australian singer Kate Miller-Heidke, released on 26 May 2007 as the lead single from Miller-Heike's debut studio album ''Little Eve''. The song peaked at number 43 on the ARIA Charts. Music video The music video was directed by Stephen Lance & Mairi Cameron HEAD PICTURES. It features Miller-Heidke in a white room with a typewriter, a small and condensed room and a room with her trying to babysit a young boy.
